As fossil fuel resources are gradually depleting, countries are increasingly focusing on developing renewable energy as a sustainable alternative. A trend is the shift of the energy market towards a decentralized model, where renewable energy can be traded flexibly. This is partly evidenced by the rise of blockchain-based solutions in the energy sector. Blockchain technology garners attention due to its outstanding advantages such as anonymity, decentralization, and transparency. Therefore, this study explores the application of blockchain in the energy sector. We shed light on four main areas: energy management, peer-to-peer (P2P) trading, applications related to electric vehicles, and carbon credit trading. This paper provides insights into how blockchain technology can act as a catalyst for revolutionizing the energy sector in both management and control
This study examines the use of Role-play in teaching business culture. The participants are 105 senior English majors at Thu Dau Mot University in Vietnam in the first semester of the 2024-2025 school year. This study investigates the perception of senior English majors toward the advantages and disadvantages of Role-play in the business culture courses and collects suggestions to improve this activity. One Questionnaire of Role-play is conducted at the end of the course to record the students’ overall perceptions and suggestions towards the application of Role-play during their study. The results of the Questionnaire show that the students are strongly interested in the use of Role-play during their course.
The act of picking fruit is very familiar and associated with the history of hunting, catching, gathering, and gathering of humans, so they have come up with many types of tools for this job. The practice of wrapping fruit in bags before harvest has only been applied recently, so it is still very new and rudimentary. These tools only perform each function individually. Therefore, the author has inherited and proposed a tool that has two functions at the same time: wrapping bags and picking fruit at high altitude. This article presents the structure, operating principles, and instructions for using this tool. This tool is compact, inexpensive, and easy to use. It consists of a long handle, a set of clamps that close and open, and a control cable connecting from the top to the middle of the handle. Farmers just need to stand on the ground, put the clamps over the fruit, and pull the control cable to make the clamps close or open. From there, they can wrap bag or pick fruits from high above easily. This research will help farmers have a tool that has two functions, which certainly has many advantages and is useful for farmers. Phytoremediation is an ecofriendly that has shown promising results for the contaminants like heavy metals. Because of its advantages as a cost-effective, efficient, environment- and eco-friendly technology based on the use of metal-accumulating plants. This paper aims to compile some information about heavy metals of arsenic, cadmium, lead, copper and zinc (As, Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn) sources, effects and their treatment. It also reviews deeply about phytoremediation technology, including the heavy metal uptake mechanisms and several research studies associated about heavy metals (As, Cd, Pb, Cu and Zn) and aquatic plants are used to process these heavy metals.
Hoi An is a well-known travel destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors, not only because it has a cultural heritage recognized by UNESCO but also because of its other cultural resources, including craft villages. Serving as both attractions and experiences for tourists, craft villages give them the opportunity to create unique mementos of their vacation while also boosting household income and elevating the status of craft villages. How is Hoi An's tourism industry exploiting this resource in tourism? The article conducts a scientific investigation of the role and current state of crafts in the production of souvenirs for tourism in general, particularly in Hoi An's craft villages such as Thanh Ha pottery and Kim Bong carpentry village, using research on souvenirs, observation techniques, and field excursions. The findings demonstrate that handicraft souvenirs are few, have less appealing designs, and have to compete hard with souvenirs from other localities. These results will facilitate the collaborative efforts of Hoi An's tourism stakeholders to identify strategies that guarantee the advantages that tourism brings to craft villages and vice versa.
E-learning has many exceptional advantages in teaching and training, and it has been applied in many universities and colleges in Dong Nai with a variety of scopes and levels; especially at a time with the motto "learning everywhere at any time", Dong Nai province sees this as a good opportunity to accelerate digital transformation in education. Simultaneously, underlining that online teaching is not only a temporary solution during epidemic seasons, but also an important way to improve educational quality. The research is carried out to examine the realities of online training in higher education in order to satisfy the demands of society's need for high-quality human resources. In addition, lecturer questionnaire and student questionnaire design would be used to collect quantitative data to answer research questions through the employment of questionnaire. The survey result showed that an average score of 4.03 to 4.19 with the “agree” level in student survey and another 4.19 to 4.29 in lecturer survey. It is indicated that the attitudes of students and lecturers on the survey items are very similar through two surveys. As a result, e-learning plays an important role in conveying the knowledge to all students at anytime and anywhere.
This article's primary goals are to provide design drawings, a description of the structure, an explanation of the working principle, and a kinematics calculation for text stamping machines. This machine has an electric motor, a gear-pinion transmission, a rotating disc-rod-slider mechanism and a hinged four-way mechanism. This is a simple, reasonably priced and useful device for administrative agencies' workstations. An ordinary administrative worker can also operate it. This device is about the same size as a laptop or printer. It operates by clamping the seal, stamping constantly onto A4 pages. The stamping speed can also be changed by varying the shaft speed of the electric motor. It is convenient, but it also has the disadvantage of requiring someone to put the paper in and take it out. The box frame of this machine is made of plastic or wood. Some transmission components are made of steel. When this machine works, the force applied to it and the force caused by it are very small, so in general it is very simple and safe. Implementing specific mechanisms and policies to develop the economy and society in certain localities is an innovative step in the legislative process in Vietnam. This initiative has timely addressed practical issues, helping localities overcome many difficulties and obstacles in legal documents, harnessing advantages, mobilizing resources, accelerating economic and social development, and achieving significant results. Binh Duong Province has recently experienced a period of strong industrial growth but faces some sustainability challenges. In the planning for economic and social development, Binh Duong needs to research specific mechanisms and policies in several areas, such as developing industry linked with innovation, transforming the workforce, investing in high-quality education, and managing and synchronizing urban planning and development. The specific mechanisms and policies for Binh Duong should aim to address national issues by overcoming the middle-income trap, making it the first locality in Vietnam to achieve high income.
Vietnam's economy is operated to serve more than ninety million people so this is a very vivid picture. The large population brings many advantages to the food production sector in general and the production of fresh noodles in particular. Fresh vermicelli is the raw material for processing many dishes of the Vietnamese people for a long time, that's why there are many Vietnamese dishes with indispensable ingredients, which as Noodles in the national culinary books. Vietnam. The production of fresh vermicelli with the main ingredient is fermented and shaped rice with simple steps, but hidden inside there are environmental issues that need to be considered. The production and business associated with environmental protection are the responsibility of most enterprises and production facilities in Vietnam. The fresh noodle food production industry is no exception. Instead of learning about the aspects that affect the environment in the traditional way of collecting information, analyzing, and evaluating the current situation, this time the research team looked at understanding the causes of environmental pollution in terms of consumption. ISO 14001 international standard. ISO 14001 Environmental Management System is an international standard that helps businesses and establishments identify the important role of the environment as well as the risks brought by the environment, thereby realizing the environment as an activity of the Organization. In this standard, the commitment to prevent environmental pollution is a mandatory condition, so determining the environmental aspects to overcome the impacts is a key element of the standard. If a business achieves ISO 14001 Certification, it will have a very good effect in promoting the corporate image of being responsible for the environment and the community. Performance-related pay (PRP) is an integral part of Reward Management (RM) and is considered to have beneficial effects on organisational performance and employee motivation. Drawing on 14 case studies, this paper examines the Reward Management practices of local and multinational companies in Australia with specific consideration to PRP within the debate over the applicability of the transfer of the Human Resource Management (HRM) practices between nations through subsidiary-parent company relationships. After reviewing the relevant literature(s), the study concentrates on finding whether multinational corporations (MNC) in Australia pursue similar or different RM practices compared to their domestically owned Australian counterparts with special reference to PRP. It also investigates whether there are national variations between multinational companies in terms of the nature and character of their practices. The findings reveal country of origin differences in the way PRP practices are applied in subsidiaries of foreign-owned companies in Australia and local Australian firms. The case studies are used to examine and explain the practices.
The process of industrialization, modernization and the rapid development of industrial revolution 4.0 are creating new development opportunities for the Southeast in general and Binh Duong in particular, but also setting many challenges. In order to take advantage of opportunities and overcome challenges, the role of the contingent of intellectuals in Binh Duong province is huge. Through the assessment of the current status of the development of the intellectual contingent of Binh Duong province, the article proposes basic views and major solutions to continue developing this team in the future to meet the requirements of industrialization and modernization of the country.
In the last days of 2019, when the whole world was waiting for the moment to enter a new decade, a strange kind of unexplained pneumonia appeared in Wuhan city, China. From the little information as well as attention initially, this epidemic has turned into a pandemic worldwide. The quick-fire coronavirus spread and the response of different countries to it highlight immediate concerns about public health and have a significant impact on the evolving world order and the values that underpin it. This pandemic is unprecedented in its capacity to take advantage of modern globalization, allowing for massive disease spread at a surprising speed. It can say that COVID-19 is an additional blow to the vision and practices of the globalization process that is already under strain. Using the qualitative methods research and conceptual approach, the article, on the one hand, tried to analyze the challenges that globalization is facing because of COVID-19. On the other hand, we want to affirm that globalization will still be an irreplaceable trend in the future.
English is one of the keys to successful globalization; therefore, every country develops own English teaching policy. Teaching English in Asia is a very common issue ruled and supported by the government. This article is a contrastive study on different English policies in such Southeast and East Asian countries as China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, and Vietnam. The contrastive analysis focused on such aspects as school year of implementing English as required subject, teaching hours of English, teacher’s training, use of local and foreign teachers, teaching methods and materials, funding, etc. The contrastive study among countries mentioned above evaluated the advantages and disadvantages of certain English teaching policies. The positive results of one country can be borrowed and adapted by another country considering its cultural, political, economic or social features. On the other hand, the failures of one country’s English teaching policy can be considered and avoided by another country’s planning on English teaching policy.
Declining supplies of fossil fuels, increasing population, global industrialization and demand for transportation fuels has triggered an increase in the demand for renewable energy sources. To address such problems most of the green research in the recent years has focused on the development of bioethanol (23 MJ/L) as a substitute to conventional gasoline (34.3 MJ/L) based fuels owing to the similarity in energy density values in addition to several other advantages (American Council on renewable energy, 2010). Second-generation biofuels are derived from lignocellulosic biomass or woody crops, mostly coming from agricultural residues. Extraction of fuel from such biomass is difficult because of their recalcitrant nature (corn stover, rice straw, wheat straw, sugar cane and sweet sorghum). Lignocellulosic fuel has the potential to solve several problems (food competing with fuel) that are currently associated with first generation biofuels. Moreover, lignocellulosic fuels can supply a larger proportion of the global fuel leading to sustainability at lower cost, and with greater environmental benefits (Liz Marsall, 2009). The production of ethanol from the complex sugars in leaves and stalks is a promising strategy to radically broaden the range of possible ethanol feedstock. This paper explores the pros and cons of using online setting for teaching and learning English comparing with in-class setting. Online setting is undergoing a fast transformation and becomes a widely promoted platform due to COVID-19 pandemic. By reviewing different studies on online teaching, this paper aims to provide readers a better understanding about online setting. These information would be useful in Vietnam where online class just has a medium used and short history comparing with other developed and developing countries, so online class in Vietnam may need adjust and consideration based on different culture and learner’s experience. This paper also give some suggestions in design of online learning for English languages to increase the learning effectiveness.
Automation or automatic control has been a growing trend in industrial fields as well as in life because of the advantages and utilities that help optimize work and reduce manpower in production. In medium and large scale automatic control systems, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) is used as the control device for the system. In production, the transmission system using motors takes a large proportion and the problem of controlling for them to operate correctly, meeting technological requirements is one of the difficulties that need to be solved. In this study, we have applied PLC to stabilize motor speed according to preset value using PID algorithm integrated in Siemens S7–1200 PLC in order to apply research results in practice. At the limit of the article, we will present the issues of PID function block configuration, programming algorithm flowchart for PLCs, and monitoring console design for a small DC motor drive system model to verify.
The fifth generation (5G) cellular network has been commercialized recently to fulfill the new demands such as very high data exchange rate, extra low latency and high reliability. Many new technologies have been introduced and exploited since the early of the 2010s. Among these emerging technologies, full-duplex relaying cognitive radio networks, device-to-device communications and cell-free massive multiple-input and multiple-output have been considered as promising technologies/systems for 5G and beyond. This work provides a comprehensive study on the concepts, advantages and challenges of the above-mentioned technologies. In addition, we also introduce four new research directions which are challenges of 5G and beyond.
The paper presents general theory about making small models for studying large machines. Here, the author refers to the design of pile driving and pressing machines. To express ideas, the author presents design drawings presented in three-dimensional perspective. Currently, pile drivers and pile presses are two separate machines, in which their base machine is the same, their working parts are slightly different. The author takes advantage of the slight differences to combine them into one machine, so as to ensure that this machine is able to pile or pile. In addition, the structure of pile making and pressing machines is created by the author, which is somewhat simpler than the current construction and driving machine. This successful study will form the basis for manufacturing a pile driving machine and pile machine into a single machine, greatly reducing the costs of procurement and construction machine use.
This paper presents a Quantified SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats) analytical method and an analytical hierarchy process method which provides more detailed and quantified information on tourism potential in Tuy Hoa city. Quantified SWOT analysis was used to assess the competing strength of Tuy Hoa’s tourism potential with other places. The results of the study presented that Tuy Hoa city has many advantages of beautiful natural landscapes, nature, rivers and mountains. The results of the comparing value of internal and external factors of Tuy Hoa’s tourism potential indicated it under high competitive pressure from neighbor destinations such as Phan Thiet, Hue, Nha Trang and Da Nang. Tuy Hoa’s tourism potential was lower than that of neighbor cities but it has more attractive tourism features.
